Who are we?
We are originally from the north of France, more exactly from the department of Oise. Philippe worked large cereal lands with his uncle. Anne was an analyst-programmer in a company in Beauvais. We wanted to create something together in the agricultural industry with a touristic approach. The Cluzel family is from the Nîmes region where a close cousin is a winegrower. The passion he has for his job made us want to go into this industry. Domaine de La Tour, with 25ha of vines and 90ha of cereals was for sale. Its old buildings, typical of the region and its dream location seduced us. We immediately made the decision to produce organically, in order to preserve our planet and our health.
The Domaine de La Tour is a very old farmhouse since it was found that in the year 1204, the lord of the Domaine: M. Raynoald de Meynes, established a lease to his nephews for the Domaine de La Tour. It was once located on an island in the middle of the marshes, an island called "St. Paul's Island". The constructions were made around a square courtyard on 2 floors. Today the marshes are dried up. The Domaine is located at the end of the road, in the middle of the vineyards, bordered by the Rhône canal in Sète, far from any pollution. The wine produced by the former owners was only sold to merchants. By purchasing this domain, we have set ourselves goals that we try to achieve as we go.
